Joe Titus: Trombone
Joe started playing the trombone in the fourth grade and has kept at it for over 47 years. He has played with the Clinton Symphony Orchestra for nearly 30 years.
Joe received his BME degree from Yankton College and his MME from the University of Northern Colorado. He has also studied with John Coffee and Buddy Baker.
Among his previous orchestra experiences are college orchestras, Greater Bostonians, WELS Lutheran Worship and Music and the Arts Festival Orchestra.
Joe has performed with various community bands in the Boston area, and closer to home with Savanna, Mt. Carroll and Rock River Jazz Bands.
Highlights in Joe's career include playing in the Hatch Shell and in Symphony Hall in Boston, playing in many CSO concerts, and "exposing students to the joy of making music."
Joe gives private lessons and serves as band director at West Carroll Middle School.
