Overture to the Season 2008

The Overture to the Season benefit will be the 'opening act' for the first concert of the Orchestra's 55th year. This year, unlike last year, the occasion will feature a buffet of choice foods and condiments. The fee for the buffet is a modest $16.00 per person.

Audience members and others in the CSO vicinity are encouraged to attend, not only to sup but to socialize as well. Attendees can expect to see the Music Director, members of the Board of Directors, and members of the Orchestra at this festive occasion. It provides an opportune time for the public to discuss the fortunes and future of the Orchestra in its relationships with the communities it serves.

Maestro Brian Dollinger will give an overview of theatrical music in preparation for the Overture Concert which will follow the social event.

As an alternative, you may send a check for the amount ($16 per person) to Overture to the Season, Clinton Symphony Orchestra, PO Box 116, Clinton, Iowa 52733-0116.
